Where to set up at Sea Lake / Lake Tyrrell

Hi All


I will be spending a few nights at Sea Lake, near lake Tyrrell.


Does anyone have suggestions as to where to set up?


I will try to be doing both astrophoto and visual.

There is an observing platform right at Lake Tyrell- meant for stargazing.
That’s a few km out of Sealake of course

I was aware of that and will pay it a visit, but, kind of assumed that tourists would be using it with their torches.

When we were there there were hardly anyone else

It was pitch dark

Scope it out during the day then see if it's suitable at night

Tourists go to see the pink water, they can't see it at night...........

Wear gumboots and just wade into the lake. Water's not deep but the salt can hurt!
