We took a fair amount of video Monday night (5 September 2022) and the seeing wasn't the best and it turns out fairly variable. For us cloud hit Jupiter at 10:35pm & had already taken out Saturn. These are the best we could get from the data.
The Saturn is the best of four different captures.
We captured seven Jupiter videos which varied in quality. The final image is a bit grainy looking.
We animated six of them over 17 minutes from 10:07pm to 10:24pm.

See CN post for the animation https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/840125-saturn-jupiter-on-5-september-2022/

As a final attempt to cut through the muck we tried a R+IR image which really didn't improve things.
The highest Jupiter got to was only 30 degrees so you can't expect too much.
We are getting good value from our ADC.

Nice images! The animation was fantastic too. Persistent cloud for us

It is a nice animation and the Saturn image is quite good Tried taking some video early yesterday morning as the visual seemed sort of steady but the resulting vids were a shape shifting warping mess when played back and haven't managed a usable image from them and now it is cloudy and raining, again !

Good results from Monday night's variable deteriorating seeing and transparency. I didn't bother with the serious gear that night but decided to try an alternative method which proved difficult given the conditions. Maybe I should have started a little earlier. You did very well to get some nice shots again.

Thanks David, Jeff and Michael. It has been a frustrating planet season thus far, particularly with Jupiter. We can only hope for some better weather, by opposition would be good :)
