This is an image out of Swan Reach Imaging. It is of the region around the Tarantula nebula. There are so many interesting objects within this region and I have always wanted to do a wider field of view image of the target but also have resolution. This image was taken with a ZWO 6200 which gives a great resolution at 2x2 bin. The larger image on my website is only 64% of full resolution.
Coming to terms with the palette was difficult for me. The HaLRGB version I have of this was frankly very bland and so not accepted for display. Doing a Hubble palette proved quite difficult to come to a pleasing colour and took quite few hours to find a good compromise. This is quite technicolour in my opinion but I think shows all the band passes well.
