K2 Panstarrs 26th August

I took this on Friday night but it was heading into the trees by the time I had set up to begin shooting, so I only managed 6 x 30 second exposures and I really didn't know if I had got it in the frame. Canon 550d, 3200iso, f8 500mm Tamron SP Mirror lens mounted on an iOptron Sky Tracker Pro.

Well Mick, you hit the bullseye with the framing - well done.
May try this evening with the newt perhaps?

Cheers Anthony, I'm having another go tonight, will lower the iso to 1600 and increase the exposure to 60 seconds if the iOptron Star Tracker's polar alignment is good enough for a 500mm focal length. :prey:
