Still collecting ever more Helix data... In the mean time I had a bash at what I'll call "Crouching Clouds, Hidden Dragons" :)

First when I didn't want to rotate the camera as a test.
Then I framed better (maybe)

Hand removed all the rubbish first then:

1. 70% of 244 x 30s UV/IR cut
2. 70% of 242 x 60s Zwo Dualband

Criticism most welcome.

Excellent work.
I wish I could do as good.

Thanks Alex. Still at the "I'm not actually sure what I did" phase. I was trying to isolate the dragons. First I couldn't "tease" any of the dust out. Then I followed an OSC narrowband tutorial and got the 2nd result. But I can't isolate the outside the central feature, which gives them their bodies.

Thanks Peter

Really nice work well done! If that’s your result not knowing what you’re doing than i can’t wait to see how you go when you got it all worked out! I can relate to the reluctance to rotate the camera between targets on a night- such a pain redoing calibrations. But it’s Always worth it in the end to have the best possible data to play with.

Thanks David. Yeah the rotation is going to mess with the much better helix data I'm collecting but it's small @ 560mm and central so it'll be fine. When I learn stuff I kinda dive right in the deep end and try not to drown. I'm also looking forward to less flailing :)
