APM 100mm 45° SEMI-APO BINOCULARS plus Vixen HF2 Alt-azimuth Fork Mount fitted with a Nexus II with High Resolution Encoders, 38912 steps.

Super Giant 45 degree binoculars, fast f/5.5 lenses, using interchangeable standard telescope eyepieces (designed to focus with most high end popular eyepieces such as Televe, etc-) comes with 2 sets of 1.25" unlabeled APM supplied wide eyepieces, APM eyepieces gives magnification of 23x & 41x. Features 1.25" helical focusers with locking collets. You can push the magnification to over 100x with other eyepieces, I like the views from 9mm eyepieces.

Very high quality glass, coatings and construction. The binoculars have built in sliding dew shields, front and rear covers, removable handle, with standard Vixen dovetail finder shoe for fitting a finder scope if needed. These binoculars are well collimated and have been looked after, no dents scratches or fungus.

VIXEN HF2 Alt-azimuth Fork Mount

HF2 Altazimuth Fork Mount from Vixen is an alt-azimuth mount that's designed for use with large astronomical binoculars. The fork mount can be fixed to most sturdy tripods with a 3/8"-16 mounting-stud, this one has an aluminium extension to make it more stable on a tripod.

Usually these types of mounts are fitted with standard 8192 step encoders, the encoders used on this setup are 38,912 steps.

Nexus-II combines Digital Setting Circles and USB Serial to Wifi interface in one powerful package; this allows you to effortlessly connect to Sky Safari on your phone to easily find anything in the sky. Anything centred on Sky safari is always in the binoculars field of view usually dead centre.
You can use Nexus-II with planetarium software such as SkySafari Plus/Pro, Starry Night, Cartes du Ciel, TheSky, and more.
