Sunday Session H-alpha Brisbane 14-08-22

A nice clear day in Brisbane, so I set up my Quark for some hi Res imaging of a few active regions, the seeing was not that great due to gusty winds and upper atmosphere turbulence, here are my results.

Thank you Clare and Peter, The Combo Quark with a TZ4 looks quite awkward,

but with my mod as shown in the image it's rock solid , no sag or focuser flop.

Yes, we noticed your bracing mod. Looks good.
Also like the use of nylon bolts. We use them quite a deal for similar holding purposes as they don't mark anything and they hold on pretty tight.
What's your opinion of the TZ4 now you have used it? The images look pretty good.

The TZ4 is a great performer, very easy to set up, no glare when imaging proms.

The long image train will need to be managed to eliminate any flexure as the telecentric beam needs to be perfectly collimated.

Entravision sells them on Ebay for $390 including postage.
