Hi Doug.
Welcome back into the fold and a good comeback.
A wonderful representation of this field.
Never done it myself (trees in the way) but WOW!
Good for you mate and very well done

Thanks Nik - was trying to push that wonderful nebulosity, but might have undercooked the stars! Might have to repro.
Cheers Alex

It's always fun coming back to this hobby, not so much when you have to break the bank haha.
Really nice image, I love the colours!

Thank you Jacob - appreciated.
“What is the function of a bank if not to be broken?”

Love the detail in the dust clouds, it looks like mountains of sand leading up to the 'statue'. For a first image after a decade's break, that's a ripper of an image.
Cheers,

Cheers Steve - playing with the starless image and pulling out the detail and colour was a joy. Reintroducing the stars (bit I thought would be easy!) has been much harder - feel I've been clumsy in that regard. Back to the learning curve for me!
Thanks for the kind words
Doug
