Evening all, I have not posted much for a while now but spent my tax refund on a new telescope on the weekend :D
To go with the new scope was clear sky's last night so I took a few frames, stacked and adjusted. I only have 45 minutes of data so the detail is not the best, but I thought I would share what I have.
45 minutes of lights, darks, flats and bias.
Canon 450D
Scope: Skywatcher Evolux ED62 with reducer/flattener fitted.
Really like the scope so for it is great value and a looks like a good travelling scope for those dark sky's when I go camping :)
Hi Carl
I so miss tax returns
If you moved your scope a bit, you might include NGC6559.
Always a nice widefield to frame up M8, M20 and NGC6559 (not that I have done it).
Happy camping and well done
Nice effort Carl, I do like wide fields, and especially these two, well done.

Nice ... I can't quite get the 2 in with my setup but wonder if I should get something to give me that wider field

Nice work Carl. Money well spent :D
Only thing I could recommend I reckon you could boost the colour saturation just a tad to bring out some more of the nebulously. Really nice shot tho

Thanks everyone, much appreciated. Tax checks are awesome, especially ones where your wife lets you spend them on telescope gear :)
Peter, I will have a tweak of positions and try for that. This is my first refractor so I am new to wide field options.
David, my colours are off but not for long. I home modded my Canon 450 and have not got around to placing a new filter in their as yet so it is a little hard to work with. I placed an order for an Astronomik CLS EOS clip on filter last night which should be here for the end of the week :D and that be tax refund all gone, almost :P

Worked back through my old work flows and managed to reprocess the image. I think this one is much better, very easy to forget how you fix things when you have not done it for a while :)
