It was a beautiful sunny morning, bit of a pity that the seeing wasn't terrific. But we did enjoy getting some images. Not quite as active as last week but still plenty of interest to view.
Ha images using Daystar Solar Scout 60 double stacked with Lunt 40mm etalon and ASI178MM camera.
White light images using 72ED, ASI178MM and 540nm filter.

Super impressive images once again, certainly setting a high bar for the rest of us, I know it's not a competition though. Just shows what can be achieved with todays gear and we all benefit.

Thanks Jeff.
You are correct, it is amazing. Not only the equipment at very reasonable prices compared to the past but also the processing software and techniques available. Not like the old days of click the shutter button and hope.

Hi Guys, that stuff is absolutely brilliant, beautiful images, puts my 40 year old image of the Sun to shame, but what the heck, we didn't have what is available today, well done.

Thanks Leon. A lot has changed to help us amateurs out in the last 40 years. You have to remind yourself every now and then what it was like not that long back. We got our first digital camera in about 2000 ... amazing.
