Does anyone know if Vicsouth will be going ahead this year? I can see the proposed dates for 2022 on the Vicsouth website but no other mention of this years event.

It's my understanding it's not going ahead this year, although I can't recall the reasons.

ASV is doing an "AstroFest" event at Sea Lake / Lake Tyrell over October 29 - November 1st, if that helps at all.

I was uncertain about putting the events URL in here, but the link from the ASV front page is broken. To save you the hassles of sorting it out:

I've gone through the program and it looks (to me) that it's aimed at the general public / not-so-experienced astronomer.
