Not sure I've posted to this section before, as I usually hang out in the beginner section. Second image with the the new Askar600 and my 2nd narrowband image with 10:40 hrs of data.

I've used a blend of the ForaxX and SHO palette



I'm enjoying using the new scope...if only the weather would let me do more!

Sky: Bortle class 4
Ha: 22 x 10 min
Oiii: 20 x 10 min
Sii: 22 x 10 min

After 2 high quality results now, I think you have surpassed the beginner stage :)

Although regarding yourself as a beginner, you never stop learning!

Any reason you went with 10min subs?

I'm still finding my way with this scope and camera, so just went with 10 min to help with Oiii. I used SGP for the 1st narrowband image I took of the Dragons, and it's exposure calc was suggesting ~15min for that target. Used 10 min subs on the dragon and just did the same for the Cat's Paw.


Not too sure what's the best sub length yet. Happy for suggestions.
