Very long night last night. Skies were finally clear, but was not able to get M104. However I did get Centaurus A and the lagoon

Centaurus A
25.5 Minutes at ISO 1250
LX200 10"

Lagoon Nebula
41 minutes at ISO 1250
Orion ED80

Camera Nikon D70

Just being picky now, why the big blobs on the Cent A pic? Focus?

Yeah focus was not spot on. I spent some time just looking at the image and thought it was right and did a test shot but the the spikes were not as long as previously. Its ok to be picky on that shot, I knew that it was not the best. I will do another run of it another night.

Tonight I am going for either M104 again with many images near 45minutes or M83 with something similar.

Thanks for the comments though chaps, really appreciated.

Hey Paul, great shots! 25.5 and 41 minutes on the Nikon D70! How long did the NR routine take, out of curiosity?

Truffle, those times are combined image times of shorter images. I think 17 images for Centaurus A and 23 for Lagoon. Did mean to mislead.
