nice effort dude! the little 72 and the 294mc was my foray into 'serious' astro imaging. its a great setup at the price! keep at it!

unsolicited suggestion - from my own experience in a bortle 6 and being interested particularly in nebula imaging, investing in an l-extreme or similar did make an exponential difference. small downside, the doublet setup and l-extreme's propensity to halo a little resulted in a small bit of pain in post; but still thought it was a net gain. clear skies!

Nice shots Richard! Horses for courses on the filter issue. Most of those shots if they include dense star fields, dark nebula or reflection nebula will not benefit from the l-extreme filter, but perhaps a UHC might be ok-ish. But yes if you’re imaging anything emission nebula go NB- it’ll change your world!!
