Hello, here is my first go at Centaurus A
140x60sec lights, 30 D, 90 F, 90 DF, 30bias.
EQ6-R, SW250 F4, quattro coma corrector, canon 600D unmodded.
probably needs more time, better skies, better processing and new camera!
Comments welcome, Rob.

I consider that to be a very fine image which I can not fault. Very well done I only wish I could produce such a great result.

Thanks, Alex
I probably should stick to brighter objects, but it was fun capturing it and having a go at processing it, Rob

Wow nothing to be ashamed of there! Nice contrast and colour, plenty of detail too. That’s a cracking shot well done!!

That 10" has certainly resolved the interesting stuff in the core. Nicely done Rob and with a DSLR too, they are being used less for astrophotography these days but can obviously still produce the goods in the right hands. Top job!

Thanks David. There’s so much to learn in this hobby. Processing is a challenge.

Thanks Michael, I do enjoy using the DSLR but an Astro camera one day would be nice. I’m not sure which one would be best with my setup.
