I haven't done this nebula for quite some years so I thought with the brief cloud free evening I'd give it another go.
I've added what I have done previous when I had my DSLR
56 x 300s subs
Master Cal frames
APP, PI and PS, I did look at startools to see if it could produce anything close. As you can see it didn't make the cut.

Not beginners shots at all. Really lovely. The first is vibrant (I love punchy colours on most nebulae), and the second is just perfectly subtle. You've got the balance right. Great work.

Totally agree with Adam, too good for here but it's interesting seeing the result you got with the osc dslr. If you combine that with your narrow band, the picture will have the best of both, great star colours and all that nebulosity. Top result!

Thanks for the comments, it is hard to know where to put an image here.
Super nice images karl .
Hi Karl
Your image and the processing are very good.
I had a look at NGC6559 for the first time a few nights ago.
It's a very interesting part of the sky, lots of Ha.
Our results are quite different and I think it all comes down to the quality
and amount of data.
You have about 5 hrs, I have about 15 and there is really no substitute for lots of good data.
Re where you should post: It doesn't really matter, wherever you feel comfortable.
Well done
