Almost the Trifid

Having a look at the Trifid, I moved the scope a bit to the left (or was it right).

Surprise surprise, this looks interesting.

NGC6559 (fuzzy blob in there somewhere).

Never really looked at this part of the sky, but heaps happening.

Specs:

About 30 X 5m subs of LRGB, Ha, S2, O3 over 3 nights (17 hrs).

Didn't play with curves, just the way it came out.

Huge fun, and...got to see the Blues win (against the Roons)!!

Mate that’s a really lovely image! Well framed and processed.

Bout time someone gave ngc6559 some proper recognition rather than it always just being the lagoon’s toes!! :P

The starfield in this area is so hard to shoot; it really dominates. But I agree, this area needs more love because if you get it right, it's spectacular.

Peter, almost the same field as the one posted in the Beginners section by Karl (Karlz) and his is a real beauty. Yours is great too, nicely done.
