As it was raining and miserable all day today, we couldn't see the sun, so decided to put together an animation of the images we took last week.
We had images for every day except Wednesday and Thursday.
That gap missed the large filament reaching the western limb, bit of a pity.
It's interesting seeing proms turn into filaments on the eastern limb and then go from filaments to proms on the western limb.
The ones on the eastern limb you can actually watch creep onto the disk.
All in all it was a pretty impressive week.

As we can't post animations here, follow this link

Great use of some down time, putting the animation together of your fine images. Thanks for sharing.

Wow - its alive!:)

I do sometimes forget what is going on with that smallish yellow ball in the sky that keeps me warm and provides me with daylight. The animation is a powerful reminder of these hidden solar dynamics.

Nice work.
