I spent a little time on M8 last night gathering some SHO data. I got maybe 4 hours in total after a late start, so not too bad. Today I tried combining it with some older data taken on a different camera, with a different telescope and different filters. Actually fairly happy with how it came out!
This is about 25 three minute subs of S/H/O with a 2600MM, FRA500, Chroma 3 & 5 nm filters and a further 105 or so three minute subs taken with an OSC, L-Extreme filter and Esprit 120 with the Ha and Oiii data extracted and integrated with the Ha and Oiii data from last night. End result being approx 6.5 hours on Ha and Oiii (not withstanding that most of that was done on an OSC) and a bit over an hour of Sii.
The stars are noticably larger in the old OSC data no doubt thanks to the wider bandpass of the Optolong L-Extreme, but aside from that I am quite pleased with how the data came together.
