Hi All,
So, 22hours of 5 min subs from a ASI294MC attached to a Celestron C8 mounted on a HEQ5 Pro in Melbourne with Bortle 5 sky.
I'm happy with the detail. I intentionally didn't push the colour too hard, in an attempt to get a more subtle "galaxy" look.
I think it's the best I can get from this equipment.

Very nice! Were the subs all unfiltered? That's pretty good Ha/red pickup!
Ditto to all the praise.
One of your best Chris

Ah, forgot to comment on this one Chris, a very pleasant M83 that, a classic traditional galaxy look, nicely balanced, good work

I reckon you nailed it!
Was the core burned out in the original stack preprocess? It is just a smidge burned out and I'm thinking you can salvage this using layer masks.

Lovely image Chris. The natural colours look great and detail is excellent.

Your restrained colour suits this one well, since it easily becomes a caricature if it is pushed too much. Nice.

Great Image, and I'm a fan of the colours too. I appreciate when the saturation isn't maxxd for sure!

I appreciate your comments.
Also it's nice to have a group of people on the forum who constantly encourage and advise struggling astrophotographers (like me), thank you all.
For Adam, I only used a UV/IR filter, no Ha/OIII. I tried, but only had around 3 hours of subs in Ha/OIII and that really didn't improve the overall result.

A little late to the party, but really nice image!
I count at least 4 smaller galaxies in the background which are showing a great amount of detail too! Well done.
