13th June 1.40 pm local time (3.40 UTC).

Had to wait for a gap in the clouds today to get this pic.

Some small sunspots visible mainly part of AR3030. A new sunspot is coming into view on the SE limb (labelled new). Some faculae also visible.

This single exposure image was taken thru a WO 81 mm refractor using a herschel wedge and Canon 550d camera. Thanks for viewing.

That is a wonderful Solar image John, especially when it was imaged on my Birthday.

Great work capturing an image at the moment John. It takes some work to beat these clouds, well done :)
