qhy imaging train purchase worry

Hey guys. Just bought a Qhy 294m pro with a cfw3-s-us and a oag-s. I will be connecting this to a skywatcher ed80 without a FF. The guys at the shop said it should all fit together despite the drawings showing the use of medium filters wheel and oag-m. Should i insists on the mediums or save the money and keep the smalls.

Get the medium to future proof yourself.
I have the 268M and with with the large filter wheel.

Yeah I upgraded to the medium FW and OAG with the 36mm filters. Thanks for the advice.

Smart move. You always need to consider the upgrade path in this hobby.

36mm filters will work with the 2600 (APSc) sized cameras, which are so popular.
