Hi surfingspruce, welcome to IIS!
To attach photos to your post, click "Go Advanced" when replying, and then click "Manage Attachments". Browse to the image on your computer, and then click upload. The image needs to be the guidelines to be able to be posted - that means, under 150k and jpeg is best.
I look forward to seeing them, and don't forget to keep asking questions!

Hey Spruce
Yep, you can upload them to imageshack if you like, then post a link to your pic. That's fine.
But you should get used to resizing photos for the web, too. If you resize them to (for example) 800x600 pixels or so, then save as jpeg, the quality can be adjusted to get it under 150k.
Look for a tool called irfanview (free) which can do that sort of thing.

To resize, I just right click on the image file, choose resize image, then choose between small, medium and large. Save as a .jpg.
This makes a new image file. So for example if you resized "moon.bmp" to medium you will now have a new file entitled "moon(medium).jpg.
You don't lose your original file.
