Meade 12inch LX200R OTA handcrafted in USA
The Meade 12inch LX200R is the same as the LX200ACF. The ota including optics was handcrafted in the USA, not Mexico. that was before the legal action......
It comes with Peterson Engineering Ezi Focus kit installed, an Astrozap heated dew shield with mini controller, Bobs knobs, Meade finder scope holder/bracket and UHTC coatings.
It does not have a micro focuser, finderscope but it does have top and bottom losmandy D bars, over 500 dollars worth. the velcro and clips are a bonus.
Because of my concerns for transporting the OTA and possible damage, it is only available for pickup from Newcastle NSW. Also because i cannot drive i cannot ship this, i cant carry it on a bike or deliver it to somewhere that does.
The scope has a famous ice in space member on it with his surname engraved on a couple of places. it discovered a couple of supernovas. my plans to make this a high resolution imaging lunar and planetary scope are now scuttled with my medical condition. it does not have a box or storage container. You have no idea how much it pains me to sell this! i can lo longer keep it
$2300 you arrange to get it picked up or pick it up yourself. i cannot ship this. BTW the mount is not included
