First clear night for months. Got a bit too exited and forgot to recollimate. EQ6- R, SW 250 F4, F4 corrector, cannon 600D unmodded. DSS, startools. 90x60sec PHD2 guided, 30 each of D,F,DF, and bias frames. Thanks for looking and comments, Rob.

Thanks Alex. When I look at the original images, I think the stars are a little eggy in the right upper zones. I think deep sky stacker corrects some of this. Cheers, Rob

Looks great, Rob. There's plenty of data / detail to see in the gas & dust clouds.

Cheers,

Beautiful image, Rob. It's amazing what 90 mins of data captures and it's one of those celestial wonders that pulls you into its swirls of dust and gas. Alex

Thanks Steve and Alex. This was my first photo with a coma corrector. Carina nebule is a great object to image. I didn’t do much processing, just a global stretch, colour and minor 2 pixel denoise with Startools. Rob
