RAW Viewer

Hi All,

I have a Canon 300D and need to view RAW images, extension is .CRW. I downloaded the Microsoft powertools viewer and it wont install under Vista.

I have tried a program called Free RAW viewer v1.0 and that wont recognise my .CRW files.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you got the software that came with the camera? ZoomBrowser EX I assume was still released with the 300D?

Vista should have the drivers for CRW by default, I would've thought.

The camera was secondhand without software :( and Vista seems to know nothing about the Canon RAW format. When you go to the Canon site all the software downloaders appear to be called 'updaters' and seem to require a previous version to be installed.

I have a IXUS 55 and have loaded the software for that and it works fine. Now the problem is that my images are c%&p, but i guess i cant blame the camera yet, as it was my first attempt.

that looks great, i will definately give it a try. Zoombrowser works but has a clumsy interface.

I have upgraded my Irfanview to ver. 4.0 and with all the latest plugins and it works on my Canon RAw files.
