Got this new. I reckon it was a sample second reject because the anodising was splotchier than a freckled redhead stepchild going through puberty. You can still see a hint of it in the middle.
Yeah. But still got slammed full price. Shoulda nagged and whined, but that's not my style. Suck it up, make it better. Kinda. Ya know like TicTok Joe says, paint it :) So I did - hammertone grey.
Still 110% functional. Non-marring brass friction clamp. MUCH better quality than the ADM offerings or the original Losmandy stuff carved out with a dull pocketknife.
Can't remember what I paid - $75 or something silly. Ehy, its astronomy....we can gouge! :D
