Seriously? These probes were designed exclusively for a single track trajectory out of the Solar System. It is amazing these probes have lasted as long as they have but then longevity seems to be an unplanned attribute for a number of NASA's exploring probes/rovers.

I suppose my joke was really to have people recognise exactly what Hans pointed out...but I take responsibility as I know some of my humour is totally missed by everyone such that I suspect I become regarded ( and reasonably so) as saying foolish things given my jokes are missed...I hope folk dont really think I would write a book "how to cook humans" as I referred to in another thread...no way would I be thinking of cooking humans...they are best raw.

Look I am not into "getting" anyone..if I try to make a joke it is to share a laugh with someone not to " get them".

Let us just talk about the wonderful mission.
