Moving house time, so cleaning house time. I hardly use this, so it's the one nominated to sell. Has not seen much use. I added a longer mounting plate to help balance with a camera, and fit one atop for a guide scope.

Note, case included, but camera and RDS seen in the case are not.

Sydney based, will deliver in Syd free, or for domestic shipping the dimensions are 55 x 30 x 20, 5Kg and coming from postcode 2146.

Current retail $649, selling at 20% off retail, $520.

Hi Cody, do you know if this is the new or the old version of this scope? If unsure, would you mind measuring from the end of the dew shield to the end of the (fully retracted) draw tube where the compression fitting screws in?

Thank you

Would also like to know whether it is the old or new version. Thanks!

The scope is only about 12 months old, purchased retail within Australia so I expect it's the new version. If I'm measuring correctly, it's 275mm, but I can't find measurements confirming the old and new sizes - I understand the old model was 10mm longer. I did add a couple of 2" extension options to my kit because of this scope, but I'm told that's not unusual for small refractors anyway.

Hey Cody, would you post interstate?

Hi,

I would, but shipping one-off large, fragile, moderately heavy items interstate is expensive. It could push the price to the point where it's not a very good deal. The lens kit I sent to QLD cost $20 in shipping and was a whole lot smaller; the scope could well go north of $100. I assume retail shops can ship cheaper due to the volume they move; if you can find a cheaper shipping option, I'm all ears..

Hi Cody,

I bought a scope (a 72ED, same as yours) from Wookie, over in Adelaide, shipped to Melbourne.

He sent it via 'Sendle' (very well wrapped in bubble-wrap) for a reasonable amount - certainly a lot less than $100 - and it arrived in 2 days.

Cheers,
V

Hi,

I've wrapped, weighed and measured it, I'll update my initial listing with those details, but it's 55x20x30 cm and 5Kg. Coming from postcode 2146, Aus Post says that's $67.

Cheers
