Hi folks,
Taking offers on this little triplet.
This one isn't getting enough use - bought it to mount side by side with my bigger refractor but have moved away from trying to run 2 astro setups side by side... so she's looking for a new home.
Orion ED80-T CF (Carbon Fibre) Apochromatic Triplet Refractor.
FPL53 Glass
f6 / 480mm focal length
Very light
Comes with case, and Orion field flattener for short refractors.
It has some markings on the outside of the tube where I let a dew heater get a bit hot, see pics.
Was looking for $1200 - now $1000 for a quick sale - plus $80 pack and post with insurance if you can't pick up.
I can throw in a pair of rings for $50 if you're thinking about dual mounting (allows you to adjust the alignment of the scope onto the same target as your main scope). I will also list my side by side adapter shortly so if you're interested in a vixen mount dual saddle let me know.
