Is anyone still using one of the 40D DSLR’s from Central DS? I have just bought one, it came without any instruction manual. I have yet to power up the peltier cooler, I just tried the camera itself for the first time tonight without the cooler on and can take a photo on auto but anything on manual setting seems to be a 25 to 30 second exposure even if set to only 5 seconds, - and then doesn’t record anything to the memory card! I would love to know a bit more about them, I don’t know what’s going on with it, can’t see a setting in the menus which set the shutter t that. Does it need to be powered up in M mode to operate???
