<5mw laser collimator for mirror checks

Hello,

Any reasons why I could not use my laser collimator to check the glass surface of my blank?

The fine prints states <5mw Laser Diode Class III A Laser product. The beam would be angled away from the user in a surface check anyway, but thought it best to ask.
