Hi All,

Imaged Saturn May 1st in good seeing, have a quite large volume of data covering 1 hr 46 min of Saturn rotation and all of it is good. Have considerable level of well resolved small scale discrete detail from pole to pole even in the Methane data.

Starting from the North Pole with detail that was best resolved in the 685nm IR data.
1) A bright spot at approx Lat+60.1 L3 255.7
2) A large bright spot at approx Lat+32.8 L3 269.3
3) A series of 3 ripples in the EZ impinging up into the NEB . The western most ripple has the longest wavelength and similar magnitude to the 2nd following ripple which has a shorter wavelength. The 3rd ripple in the series has significantly shorter wavelength and magnitude. These ripples from the western most are at approx Lat+14.9 L1 128.8, Lat+15 L1 103.5 and Lat+15 L1 84.3
4) A well defined dark spot at approx Lat-44.2 L3 204.8
5) A v-large dark feature approx Lat-58.5 L3 242.3
The 685nm IR data also resolves considerable low contrast detail within the EZ including a long thin bright feature parallel with and just above the ring shadow. Also several bright spots just below the ring shadow in the Southern Hemisphere.

Detail resolved in RGB data but not in the IR data.
1) A ripple in the NTeZ impinging up into the NNTeB at approx Lat+47.4 L3 215.2
2) A large dark diffuse feature centered on approx Lat+31.7 L3 222.3
3) A large diffuse bright spot at approx Lat+30.3 L3 204

Note; The insets in all data sets have the aforementioned detail marked and are in the same relative place such that any two data sets of the same wavelength can be blinked.
All data from this session has been uploaded to the PVOL data base.

Have attached links to my animations at all wavelengths.
