Well that was quite an experience, The Astronomical Seeing " Explained " was silent for me so couldn't get any explanation. The portfolio of images that I guess , are from your travels are outstanding image capturing. I presume that they are your own images. Not sure that you intended to post the link to your portfolio but I had much enjoyment browsing through, until the Page USA Power Station image. Could have spent more time browsing but not knowing how many more images there are and how long that may take, called it quits for now.
The astro images among them are also fantastic, really like the solar Ha stuff. Thanks for sharing, whether intended or not.

I posted the link as to me, without words, when I first saw it, the video perfectly "explained", (demonstrated) the jelly like atmosphere that is the nature of atmospheric seeing and I thought represented a good demonstration/ answer to the oft asked question of: What is the seeing (atmospheric seeing)?

Thanks for the reply. It possibly would help less experienced amateurs if the example explained if the video was a representation of good , average or bad seeing. For my location I would class the example given as good seeing conditions and would love to have that seeing more often. My average is a lot worse than that thanks to the local topography but a few times a year , during planet season hopefully, conditions align and steady seeing and resultant avi's , like your example, can be obtained.
There was a link to Damian Peach's website a few years ago that gave an example of The Pickering Scale and the different levels of astronomical seeing.

Yes I agree more info is always better, but to me, I posted it as it immediately struck me as a beautiful example of what the seeing is with the attendant jelly-like wobble in the atmosphere and also showed its variability from good to not so good throughout the course of the short video. You don't often see such, at times, very clean/sharp planetary videos, that demonstrate the jellly-like wobble so well, except for a few moon videos I've seen, that are so instructive in their (non-verbal:D) content.

Thx also for the link to the Damian Peach page on the seeing simulation. He presented the same/similar information in a wonderful video lecture that I once saw.
