Hen 2-72, PLN 294-0.1, ESO 129-29

Reported by Ellen Dorrit Hoffleit in 1953.

The Astronomical Catalogue Designations
place Ha omitting stars and planetary nebula
under the HEN catalogue.

And now we know why it's called
The Running Chicken.

It is great to know the designation of this blue blob. I always thought that these objects were aberrations ( I am an astronomy novice!).

That's really interesting regarding the Hen catalogue.

Google & Astrobin search return almost no images.. hmm. Possible photo op for guys with long focal length scopes.
