Does anyone know - and I'm sure you do - where i can get one of those lairy freezer suits that people were walking around in at the SPSP? It looked more like the freezer section at Bi-Lo at times!:cold:
They're available from Geoff, he's one of our members, GTB_an_Owl (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/member.php?u=772)
Send him a PM to get the details.
His website is http://www.gtbcomputerwise.com.au

Geoff usually comes observing at Kulnura, so you may be able to pick one up in person on the 19th! Now THAT gives you a very good reason to make sure you come!

They are very warm. I wore mine last week when trying to image Jupiter in thick fog, and I had to wear it with one arm in and one arm out, just to get some cool air!

I'm picking up a suit and booties from Geoff next week. I'm on holidays so will be going to my brother's out the back of Coffs harbour with scopes so will need it there. Then Kulnura, then Barrington tops for 5 days - I hope I don't burn my eyeball out with all that dark site lookin'!;)

I find the thigh flaps handy to let a cool draught in.......it gives me a chance to flash some flesh too......:scared:

now thats an interesting thought, the flaps!! they do cool you down but the jacket part still makes you cook in any temperatures above 10. Great weightloss programme though

For the top half, I find unzipping the chest area helps considerably...the John Travolta Saturday Night Fever look....:cool3:
