Back into Astronomy

It's been 6 or so years since I've set up my telescope, but I got a bonus at work and on a whim I bought a NEQ6 mount to get me back into the hobby. I was several scotches in at this point so probably wasn't thinking clearly as my scope is only a Celestron Astromaster 130EQ. Not sure if the dovetails match. It should arrive by the weekend and I'm keen to try an put it all together. Even if it means I need to upgrade my OTA :lol:

Your long range forecast says clear sky
with scattered cloud.

Followed by scattered showers.

It's actually better than the main East Coast !

Perhaps another Dram of the malt
and another online purchase.

Or two...if your seeing double.

My mount is currently sitting at the post office waiting for me to pick it up, and Clear Outside is forecasting pretty decent conditions for tomorrow night so that's perfect timing!
