How many of us suffer from “GAS”?

"Gear Acquisition Syndrome”, also known as GAS, is commonly understood as the Telescope owners unrelenting urge to buy and own more Telescopes and equipment as an anticipated catalyst of creative energy and bringer of happiness.

Also common amongst musicians and all types of sport. Nothing sweeter than a new instrument and well used quality can be just as good.

I defintely suffer from GAS when it comes to Ham Radio or Photography.
I'm currently saving up for more GAS when it comes to Astronomy.

But I “need” it…much like Lays potato chips/crisps…you can not have just one (of whatever it is)

FYI these little Vixen Reflectors are miniatures that Barbie dolls would be happy with.

I thought they were just miniatures, but each has an internal lens and LED that projects an image of various astronomical objects.

Suffice to say both grandad (me) and grandson were delighted with that unexpected feature.

....as for the other rubbish (Questar, 4x Astro-Physics OTA's , Alluna RC) who cares?

Barbie already got the house, Ferrari, camper van etc....as for Ken...maaate you are buggered.

Yes Col, i suffer from Camera and Lens GAS .

I have been known to sell a lens, and then in a month or two go out and buy that very same lens again, brand new.

Where did you find those?

I'm curious, they're kinda cool...
