Rubies in the sky with diamonds

NGC 3293 is known as the Diamond and Rubies Cluster and NGC 3324 is the pink arcing nebulosity to the North

NGC 3293 is only 1 degree north west of Eta Carina

this was the other object imaged last Saturday night

unfortunately I shot this image through the palm tree (my pet hate) and it caused some weird diffraction effects so I will have to go back and do this on again another night.

(I just couldn't pick this up when reviewing the image on the Camera LCD screen and thought I was missing the tree.)
