Desperation situation today. In the end the only images taken were actually through thin high cloud but with all the activity on the sun at present it was hard not to at least have a try. There were some amazing prominences visible. It was just a shame that the conditions didn't allow some better imaging. We had to process a little differently to try and remove the effects of the cloud.
