I found this data set lurking on my hard drive recently when doing a tidy up. The data were captured last year between August and and October and cover an area in the LMC around the globular cluster NGC2004. Clearly other projects got in the way so it was a real bonus to have something to work with. For this project the data have been combined into an RGBHOO image.

Wow what a lovely pic! Not much new data being captured here in Sydney for some time so a great opportunity to rediscover some previous data!! Well done

What a find! Great field, one of the best in the LMC and very nicely processed Rod, I had a rather enjoyable peruse of that
I hope by the time I get back into this image processing thing I can get as good results...I will be rusty :help:

Thanks David and Mike for your thoughts.
I'm sure Mike that you will be back in the saddle in no time once the new obs is up and running (the pressure will be on though :D).

Very nice indeed Rodney!:thumbsup: Great colour and depth. Not easy targets either IMO.

Thanks Marcus. Agreed that these complex areas of nebulosity can be challenging. Much time was spent staring mindlessly at the screen pondering the next move.
