What really cheeses me off :mad2: is the Newcastle council closing down all the football grounds in the Newcastle area for Saturday because it was raining on Friday. There is nothing worse sitting at home with the sun splitting the trees and no sport to be had. :screwy: The poms invented the game to be played in the colder months and believe me it should be played in the rain because it rains a lot in good old pommie land.

Sorry for the rant but I had to get it off my chest.

your a patient man David, it would be semi's and giant 4WD's that are the worst thing to be tailgated by for me - but i have mastered the cunning ways of messing with a tailgaters mind :P from slowing down to 55 and suddenly tapping the brakes for effect, and then finally the withering glare as they eventaully pass you :D

I hate people who go out of their way just to piss you off or try and create an argument with you just for their own self satisfaction.

What cheeses me off. People who cant see motorcycle riders, they are usually the one who also sit in your blind spot and then accelerate past you just as you indicate to change lanes.
I fail to see the logic in it.

Tailgaters dont bother me I just wait until I see them looking left or right then if its during the day I turn on my headlights. They think I'm braking and as they were looking else where and see the lights late they usually slam on the breaks. Cracks me up every time. Its even better if there is a bit or rain around.

Ric, i was a motorcyclist for a long time when i was younger, and i know exactly what you mean :scared:

P Platers in performance cars. Honestly, what parent buys them for their kids? Still, funny (if a bit long) story:
My previous job was as a bus driver. I'm following this guy one day. P plater, driving a Nissan Skyline GTR, with his name on the number plates. Come to an intersection with traffic lights, bus is in lane 1, said car in lane 2 making a right turn. Bus can't overtake, so I wait. Lights turn yellow. Instead of completeing the turn when safe, our P plater puts the car into reverse and slams it straight into the front right corner of the bus. Pretty much destroyed the whole rear quarter panel of his car. In the aftermath, he weakly argues that the collision was my fault because......

wait for it.....

I was in his lane.

People who whinge when I tailgate them. Don't they realise that I'm honing my reaction and avoidance skills? Turning up the car radio and boom-boom speakers helps me to concentrate and fine tunes my high frequency hearing so as to more easily hear the emergency vehicle that is tailgating me. Burning the rubber off my tyres helps the local council with road repairs as those extra layers on top of the bitumen reduce wear and tear on the road surface; it also helps the local economy when you take into account the price of tyres these days. Doing doughnuts is similar as it's free advertising for the local businesses.

I regularly exceed the speed limit on our roads just to add to the government's treasure trove and, even if I am advised not to drive I can still do so, thus increasing revenue. Even if I don't I will still help our limping economy by donating a few bob by way of transport charges - assuming I pay them - but if I choose not to do that (it's a free country isn't it?) then I'll just have to find the necessary to pay any court imposed fine. See; it's a win-win situation.

Of course I would never go as far as putting myself in the way of a custodial sentence as that would be an imposition on the taxpayer and a total waste of the money that I've already paid; I'm not selfish you know.

Well, OK, just a little bit selfish. After all I'm now the proud possessor of a Seniors Card which should allow me about 10% off my next donation.

I suppose what I'm saying is that what cheeses me off is those people who don't understand me. What's wrong with a free spirit?

It must be your shout.

Everybody whinging about South Sydney Rabbitoes being robbed by bad refereeing. They deserve to lose every game if only because they cant fill 1/4 of the ground during home games and its embarrassing to see tens of thousands of empty seats.
