Hi

Attached are a couple of images of NGC3132.

One is the full frame and the second is a small central crop of the data at 100% full size.

Taken with a GSO RC14 @ f/8 + ASI 2600MC OSC camera + EQ8 mount.

Both OSC RGB & Ha/O3 duo band data were combined together with Ha data from a QHY 9 mono camera taken with the same instrument.

Total of 1500s RGB, 3000s duo-band & (if memory serves me correctly) 2hrs of Ha with the QHY9 camera.

The ASI camera data were taken yesterday & the QHY9 camera data about 2 years ago.

All processed with APP.

Yeah nice one Maurice, love this PN, looks great in a large dob too.

There are even more, fainter shells, further out, if you feel like giving it some more exposure

Cheers Peter..

Thanks Marc.

Thanks Mike.
Your image of this one is a real inspiration in its depth and colour.
Probably a big ask from the city to get anywhere near as deep as you did with yours; but it certainly can be much better than what I got.

Thank you Dave.

Thanks Fred.
Coming from a planetary imaging focus, I tend to be more comfortable with the longer FL scopes.
A bit of a challenge to get right, but I certainly agree that the images at these longer FL are rewarding.

Cheers
Maurice
