???.
Yep a good scope is a great tool, for only a few hundred you can pick up stereo models with a camera too, you could probably use a zwo camera if it’d fit, microscope camera are like astro camera and pop in place to replace the eyepiece but they use different eyepiece diameters but same basic concept. I’ve used a bunch of “USB microscopes” over the years, universally garbage but a solid “normal” microscope like yours is pretty affordable , just avoud those really cheap plastic “toy” ones. I dont get to use mine much, its in my “hobby room” under a cover and surrounded by other “hobbies in various stages of work and completion. I’m a rock and mineral collector and would like to get some good micro photos of crystals etc. one of those one day i’ll get to it type goals, but certainly having indoor hobbies is great for those rainy days and cold winters, especially if you have a comfy room and a window to gaze out.

really cool, Alex!
The microscope we bought for my daughter really went down a treat at Christmas. Thanks for your previous advice.
2 awesome images Alex well done . Pretty cool how 1 minute you are taken images many light years across in size and next minute something only microns in size .
I am very organised just doesnt look like it. Since becoming disabled I dont know what things i can do or cant and have a ton of “test” activities and experiments in overcoming various difficulties, but its frigging expensive buying things like strange clamps to help hold stuff since I have only one working hand and of course anything under the label of disability is hideously expensive too and usually just a sticker on a cheap existing product, because people are greedy as hell and disabled folks are an easy target. Plus because I can’t really sit for any length of time getting through some hobby task takes me longer thand a normal person at least 20 times longer now. And a lot of the time i get to a point where i cant complete what i’m doing and need time away from it to consider how to proceed or build a rig or something to help me move forward. And in the mean time I have to move onto doing another project to occupy my time. I was bullied out of the public service (dont give me crap they cant do that, yes they damn well can, same way political promises are never kept because there are conflicting definitions in place they can use to get the end result they wanted, in my case budget saving by getting rid of one salary, I wasnt the only one driven out, it was surprising and horrible to go through to be stabbed in the back by people i thought i could trust.
Anyway its a constant process for me, theres no such thing as comfort or relaxation possible fore me and i can only endure the pain for a little while before i have to switch tasks so i keep going until i can finish something and clear space for something else or abandon and throw out stuff i know i’ll never finish or use again, some of what i can do improves but some will never and is not black n white which is which. I had some big goals i wanted to achieve but the health care system only helped until my savings ran out, i own my home and cant get centerlink support unless i get rid of my home ( and live where exactly?) I know the sort of life provided Christmas island and Nauru etc to refugees and I feel sorry for any aphganistani refugess that made it here and any ukrainians who think Australia will be a better place for them, the reality is not what our PM claims. Our policy is not to make refugees into citizens, its about locking them up and sening them back and profiting at every stage from it. The public never hears about refugees now safely living and working as citizens because the system isnt there to allow it, move them on and out then lots of stats can be bandied about by the politicians, but you’ll never see a current affairs show interviewing Success stories because there are none.
Sorry not a good day for me, need to shut up.

Exactly. Your post has nothing to do with microscopy.
