Hi All

For anyone who may be interested, on tonights episode of George Clarke's Amazing Spaces on ABC Ch 22, one of the segments is about someone building an observatory and telescope ( newt ). The show has already started. Turns out the scope is a truss tube refractor.

Yep, Jeff I did see that, quite like that show, some amazing little spaces and some very creative minds.

The show is annoying , in that it is broken up into short segments and bounces around between 4 or 5 stories during the program and there is more to come next week. Agree that their are some very creative minds and designs but the format makes it hard to follow sometimes. Or maybe I wasn't paying enough attention.

Yes you read that correctly, not that unusual, a few members on here have made truss refractors, if my memory serves me correctly.
