As many of you know, this thread is here because only one image is allowed to be entered in the challenge, but if you have more images that you want to share, you can. Please post them here on this thread.

Also, the challenge thread is only for your entry, however, if you wish to make a comment on one of the other entries, you can post it here in this thread too.

I few shots I took in Barcaldine when we were broken down with a gearbox failure...


From this at least I learned to overexpose a stop or two when the underside of the bird is in shade against a bright sky.

Very nice Al. I will be entering a shot which is almost a silhouette, and
will therefor not rate highly. Having been a pro photographer I was well aware that it would be way under exposed, but as I only had a point and shoot
camera, there wasn't much I could do about it.

gotta love them pelicans pretty gracefull in flight but when it comes to take of and landing they need a new steering wheel lol

some other images of birds i dug out
all local to WA
lot of time and patience staring thro a view finder to get some of these :)
the one of the 2 pelicans landing looks like there gonna crash into the terns lol
