Mark.

Where abouts are you? Your ph no. doesn't have an area code. It's also not included in your user details.

What's the weight of the OTA (including finderscope etc) ??

I'm wondering whether a (Skywatcher) EQ6 would be capable of carrying this for planetary imaging??

Would probably be at its upper limit and struggle, even in slight winds?

Mark,

How is the primary fixed to the cell?

Hi rmcpb,

The primary rests on 3, 4mm foam pads adhered to the mirror cell (not shown in photo). The mirror is also protected with 3 nylon bolts that just touch the side of the mirror profile (midway) and 3 mirror clips with foam protection sit arroximately 3mm above the top edge of the mirror at 120 degree spacings (see photo on website link).

Regards,
Mark.

Hi Matt,

I have updated the ad and have included my area code. I am located in Melbourne.

I don't have an exact weight of the telescope but I can weigh it for you if you like. The mirror weighs 8kgs. What would be the maximum weight your mount could operate with?

Regards,
Mark.

Hi CS,

My advertised price is $3600ono. Approximately $1200 below its production cost.

The scope is in excellent condition and excellent operating order with many useful accessories.

An ad for this telescope will appear in this month's edition of Crux magazine - the Astronomical Society of Victoria's bi-monthly magazine.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Mark.
