View Full Version here: : The Sun in Ca II K, Continuum & Ha January 16
This is a set of 6 images presented in Ca II K, Continuum and Ha with a focus on the Solar Western Hemisphere. No fog today but it was a cloudy start which remained as Cirrus. I have marked in all known Sunspots but one which remains unnamed at the time of writing this report.
Ken I'll send you what I have re that Ca II K prom shot data soon.
I'm slightly 'putered out at the moment.

A great set of images Gerard, really good to see Sol so clearly in the different filters.
Well done to everyone else who is solar imaging as well. Richard J, Merlin and Averton . Saves me the trouble of setting up and hoping for a break in the clouds. Not really, but the coastal cloud around here has long past worn out its' welcome.

Nice set of images Gerard. Regards, John W.
Thanks Ken, Richard, Jeff and John for your kind replies much appreciated. That cloud coming in from the northwest has really thickened up today. It doesn't look promising from here.
