Hi all

Some of you may have noticed the changes to the Buy/Sell area since yesterday. It has been renamed, IceTrade Classifieds, and has moved out of the Equipment section into it's own forum category.

There are also sub-categories now for the different types of items for sale, including Telescopes & Mounts, Eyepieces, Accessories, Cameras & Imaging Equipment, Non-Astronomy and Trade/Wanted. Please place your ad in the appropriate sub-category so it can be found more easily by people searching for that particular type of item.

The IceInSpace Terms Of Service (TOS) (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=7856) has been updated to reflect the new rules of the IceTrade Classifieds. Please ensure you read them. The main change is to consolidate the posting rules, and the removal of the 5 posts/1 month rule before a member can post a new ad in the IceTrade Classifieds.

This means all members (new or old) can post ads in the IceTrade Classifieds. While the previous rule was aimed at protecting the community, it also penalised genuine new members who wanted to post their items for sale for the sake of protecting against the 0.01% who are up to no good. We encourage all members to read the IceTrade Classifieds Rules and Ettiquette (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=46) guide which is stickied at the top of each of the categories, and as always, use the Report Bad Post button (red X at the top of each post) to bring a thread to a moderators attention.

To see all new IceTrade Classifieds listings, use the New Posts (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/search.php?do=getnew) link in the blue navigation bar above, and IceTrade listings will be highlighted with the "IT" icon to the left of the title. You can also tell if a category has new posts by the yellow triangle in the top right hand corner of the category icon graphic.

In a future update, we plan to add a Feedback system (similar to ebay).

We hope you enjoy the changes and like the new look!

Thanks to Terry (mojo), who did the majority of the work for this latest update.
