Hi guys, my mate Alex, has not responded to a few of my phone calls and texts.:shrug:

I do hope he is OK, but i do know he is in a place of low reception and I think in his van, not sure on that one.:shrug:

So has anyone else spoken or heard of how he is going.

Thank you Richard, He did tell me a little while ago that he may not return to IIS, and as said, that is his choice he did however send Alice and I a text, although short wishing us both a happy Christmas and that was on the 24th Dec

I will try again from time to time.

What has happened that he wouldn't want to return here? Ive chatted to Alex here for years. It's like a home to him and his posts were always great reading. I know his health hasn't been great lately but has he had a turn?

He was banned for a couple of weeks from IIS for some reason, in late November and since then has not returned here.
His ban ended in early Dec and has chosen of his own free will not to return here.

Well that is possibly true, but one of the moderators saw it fit to give him a couple of weeks suspension so to speak, after a couple of warnings for something he had posted.
However I have not read that post.

Alex is ok. I communicated with him a few days into the new year. He is busy working on his property improvements, and coming up with innovative ways to over come his health restrictions. A new year is a real milestone for Alex.

Alex is certainly a fighter and has a positive outlook to life no matter what it throws at you
I do hope he rejoins the forum at some stage , a real decent bloke who has so much to offer. Always enjoyed reading his posts

I was in contact with Alex this morning. :):)

Just to let you all know our friend Alex is in good spirits and the best health he can be under the circumstances of his condition.:thumbsup:

He has worked to the best of ability on his Van and it is all newly spruced out with lots of new stuff that he can use at his convenience and placed in a way that will make life easy for him. ;)

Also has done lots of work on his Observatory, getting it ready to get into it again.

About being back on IIS no idea :shrug:

He is in a good place, so that is a good thing:)
